Christmas Gift Guide

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Well, mostly.

I think it’s safe to say that while the merriment and togetherness during the holidays is something we can look forward to all year, there’s that nagging stress that goes with it. I’m sure you’re familiar with it.

The “What do I get everyone this year??” stress that can really put a damper on your holly jolly attitude.

Which is why I’m here to help you stuff that stress, and check off every expectant mama, new family, and little baby on your list. If you’re expecting or a new parent yourself, Congrats! These are also great options if you’re looking to treat yourself to a little something this year.

I’m the planner type who likes to have everything done way ahead of time so I can enjoy the season with my family without being worried about shipping delays, supply chain issues, or forgetting anyone important. It’s a gift I give myself, and one you should get in on!

These gifts are some of my favourite things from when my kiddos were new, and come in a range that should help you find some luxury items that fit the budget. Since I always want to be upfront with my friends, know that there are a few affiliate links in this guide that provides me with a small commission if you purchase through them. But you know that these items are my faves for mamas and babies, and recommend them either way!

Now on to the good stuff!

Pehr On The Go Travel Pouch

Pehr On the Go Travel Pouch – This little beauty looks cute and helps you shed the weight of your heavy diaper bag. This is great to pop in your purse, stroller, car, or wherever you find yourself. I was always looking to leave my bulky diaper bag at home whenever I could, and this little number bought me that freedom!

Zoli Chubby Gummy

Zoli Chubby Gummy – I love this product because it’s a lightweight, ergonomic teething option for your little biter. I’ve found that so many teethers are too big for little mouths, or an awkward shape to really be effective. These are great for their small hands to hold, and have a guard that prevents them from putting it too far into their mouths.

HoMedics SoundSpa White Noise Machine

HoMedics SoundSpa White Noise Machine – You know that white noise is a sleep consultant’s best friend! I recommend it to all my clients to help signal to their baby that it’s time to sleep, and to block out all the noise that living life, siblings, pets, and the Amazon driver (whhyyyy do they always seem to make their deliveries during nap time??) can bring. This one is nice because it has a minimalist aesthetic so it won’t wreck your nursery vibe. It has lots of good options that offer consistent noise to really lull your babe to sleep, and my favourite part is that it can be plugged in, or cordless so it fits easily into an overnight bag for a sleepover at Grandma’s.

Woolino 4 Season

Woolino 4 Season Ultimate Sleeping Bag – Sleep sacks are my absolute favourite once your little one starts showing signs of rolling. They’re cozy, they’re safe, and they help keep your kiddos from climbing out of their crib. If you’re like me and live in a cooler climate (helloooo snow!), then a sleep sack with Merino wool is a really nice touch. Check them out here for all the size and cute pattern options. Use code WHOLENIGHTSLEEP10 for 10% off your purchase.

MEC Down Stroller Bag

MEC Down Stroller Bag – Getting outside can really break up a monotonous day with your littles. Whether you need a change of scenery, or the kids need to burn off some energy, getting your body moving is great for your physical and mental health. I’ll be honest, there were days when I really struggled being inside all day with the constant craziness. Having something that made sure my kiddos were warm in their stroller (especially since they weren’t moving around like I was!) helped me with some much needed mental clarity outside.

Slumberpod

Slumberpod – This has to be my favourite product for on the go sleep! This incredible product creates a safe dome around your baby’s play pen to ensure a safe place that is dark and serene, even when they’re somewhere unfamiliar. This has saved us on so many trips and something I always have packed for my littlest. Use code WHOLENIGHTSLEEP20 for $20 off your purchase!

A Silent Night – It wouldn’t be a gift guide for new parents without a shameless plug for my services, right? Not getting enough sleep can really run you down and affect your physical and mental wellbeing. Not to mention your little babe that needs their rest for the constant growing and developmental milestones they’re hitting! My packages cover different ages and sleep needs, so I’m confident I can help get your little one sleeping again. Consider it a gift to yourself when you can go out and not stress that your baby will be up all night for the babysitter. Book your free discovery call now!

Haakaa

Haakaa – These have taken the market by storm, and for great reason! The Haakaa helps your milk supply (and your freezer stash), as you can suction it to the breast that you’re not feeding with and it will catch the let down. It has a natural suction that will pull milk in addition to simply collecting it, so it can help increase your supply if that’s something you’re worried about.

You can also try this hack to use the Haakaa to clear a clogged duct. This product does so many helpful things for a breastfeeding mom!

Baby Bjorn Bouncer

Baby Bjorn Bouncer – What a tongue twister! But this bouncer is a dreamy option to put your little one somewhere safe when you just Need. A. Minute. You know? To finally run to the bathroom, make a meal, or take a quick breather with nobody touching you, this bouncer will be coming in clutch.

I love each of these options for a new mom or mama to be! It can be hard to know what we need when we’ve never been in that situation before. But it’s so nice for a fellow mom who’s been down the road already to give them a hand. Along with any of these options, you can also share my 5 tips to sleeping through the night download (it’s free!) as an added gift to help them get more ZZZs.

What would you add to the list? Let me know in the comments!
